about me
Hi, I’m Jess
I built this because I was you.
Growing up in a Mexican household, “otro plato” was normal and fitness was never really a priority. I was naturally thin growing up, so I didn’t think much about food or health. That changed in 2020, when I was juggling work, family, and personal stress and putting myself last. In a short amount of time, I gained over 30 pounds and didn’t recognize myself anymore. I felt tired, overwhelmed, and stuck.
I knew I needed to change, but I didn’t know where to start. I tried dieting, quitting, and restarting, and nothing ever lasted. Not because I wasn’t trying hard enough, but because I had no structure, no clear plan, and no real support.
Once I learned how to build simple systems that fit my life and my culture, everything changed. I learned how to eat better without giving up my favorite foods, train in a realistic way, and stay consistent. I lost over 30 pounds, got stronger, and finally felt confident and in control again.
Now, I help Latina women do the same by giving them clear guidance, real accountability, and ongoing support. No extremes, no confusion, and no starting over every few months. Just a proven system that works in real life.
You’re not bad at this. You were just never taught. And I’m here to teach you.

Melanie
Certified Personal Trainer
Melanie grew up in a Guatemalan household where food, family, and culture were deeply connected. While nutrition education wasn’t always part of the conversation, the love for traditional foods and community always was.
Through her own health and weight-loss journey, she learned how to build sustainable habits while navigating challenges like hormone balance, mindset, and consistency. Fitness became more than exercise — it became a positive outlet, a way to manage stress, and a tool for building confidence and strength.
Today, Melanie is passionate about helping women create balance without giving up the foods or culture they love. She believes health should feel empowering, realistic, and sustainable — not restrictive.
Her goal is for every woman she works with to feel confident in her body, strong in her habits, and capable of maintaining a healthy lifestyle long-term.

Kelli
Certified Personal Trainer
Kelli grew up in a multiple cultural household a mix of American & Bolivian and had to move often. She understands the challenge of balancing culture, family, and work especially when having to be far from loved ones.
In her teens Kelli struggled with her ADHD and body image becoming disconnected from herself. Believing extremes and all or nothing was the only way to reach her goals. Going so far as being a raw vegan, leaving no room for cultural foods.
Through her journey of reconnecting with herself, she gained a passion for fitness. Pushing her to get a diploma from the Focus Institute for Personal Training. There she discovered her love for strength training and changed her perspective on what it means to be healthy, focusing on what her body is capable of instead of size.
Now, she meets women where they’re at and helps them find balance instead of extremes, get strong instead of shrinking themselves – Make mindset changes, and build sustainable long term habits that leave room for joy.

Fabiola
Certified Personal Trainer
Fabiola moved from Mexico to the U.S. when she was five, learning to navigate a new culture while holding onto her own.
Creciendo entre dos culturas le enseñó a adaptarse sin perder quién es.
For years, food was how she coped. Later, sports, fitness, and weightlifting helped her reconnect with her body and her inner strength.
That journey led her to study Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology, and earn a Master’s in Kinesiology & Human Performance because she strongly believes the mind and body are one.
Today, Fabiola helps Latina women build healthy habits that honor their culture, their seasons of life, and their reality.

Allie
Certified Personal Trainer
Allie was born and raised in the United States, but spent much of her young adulthood traveling and living abroad as a professional water skier. Experiencing different cultures helped shape her flexible, real-world approach to health, nutrition, and lifestyle, and taught her how to navigate nutrition and wellness across different environments and barriers.
Growing up as a gymnast, Allie was surrounded by athletics from a young age, but the transition into adulthood brought challenges with her relationship with food and exercise. Like many former athletes, she fell into an all-or-nothing mindset, believing long hours in the gym and strict food rules were the answer. Through her own journey, she learned that true health comes from balance, strength, and sustainable habits, not extremes.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Winona State University, Allie went on to pursue her personal training and nutrition coaching certifications from NASM. Today, she is passionate about helping women build confidence, create a healthy relationship with food and exercise, and develop long-term habits that support both physical and mental well-being, leaving room for balance, joy, and real life.
about me
Hi, I’m Jess
Growing up in a Mexican household, I was always encouraged to have “otro plato,” and I knew very little about fitness or nutrition because my family was focused on survival. I was very thin growing up, so I never paid attention to what I ate. It wasn’t until the 2020 pandemic hit that I realized I had gained over 30 pounds in a short amount of time. At the time, I was juggling work, family, and personal matters. I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t know how to start my journey. I knew deep down I had to eat better. Until that point, I was eating a lot of carb-heavy Mexican foods, but I had an aha moment. I realized that if I could make these foods healthier while keeping them delicious, I could lose the weight in a sustainable way—and that’s exactly what I did. I also fell in love with the gym again and finally felt like myself. I’ve never been more confident, and now I’m lucky enough to help other Latinas do the same. I know that for us, family is everything, and with my experience in taking care of my family while juggling my own journey, I know I can help you too!

Many of my clients are busy women with full-time jobs and families. At-home workouts are perfect for them—and for most beginners! You don’t need a gym to get great results.
While our meal plan provides calories and macros, and it’s important to have an estimate of how many calories you’re eating, tracking isn’t 100% necessary. If it feels overwhelming, we can focus on portion control and making healthy swaps instead.
